Website for a public institution (Presidential Administration)
Goal
Return the population to historical territory, given the fact that people have long and firmly settled abroad, have taken root, run their own farms and family business projects.
Objectives
Development of the site to help with resettlement. A ready-made site should “awake” an emotional connection with the land of ancestors, reveal the benefits of the project and close all possible objections.
Implementation
Very interesting and atypical project. It was created in order to interest Old Believers in resettling from the territories of South American states (Bolivia, Brazil, Uruguay), where they came more than a century ago.
A little background. Long ago, the Old Believers moved to South America because of political and religious differences with the leadership of the country. They settled quite well in new places and began to grow various crops. They quickly succeeded on American soil. Recently, they were mentioned, and the president decided that it would be nice to bring these guys back, if only because they are very hardworking farmers and talented businessmen.
Thus, the state program for the resettlement of compatriots-old believers to the Far East was born. And we participated. Namely, we have developed a website for a state institution that contains complete information:
- measures of state support for this category of immigrants;
- economic and social benefits of living and working in the Far East;
- transparent algorithm of actions during resettlement;
- information about the proposed region: climate, soil, crops that are better to grow, etc.
We did our best to help people make decisions.
The project was also very interesting in terms of the uniqueness of the working group. It consisted of representatives:
public organizations;
presidential administration;
Governments of the Far East;
The Old Believers, who share their recommendations.
There were complications. Where without them? Since this is a state-owned website, it was necessary to comply with all security requirements, relying on federal laws that regulate the protection of personal data and encryption.
We did it, even though it was difficult.
But the difficulties did not end there. One important point had to be avoided. The Old Believers have a specific culture closely related to faith. It was necessary to mention the issue of religion on the website so as not to offend anyone.
But even this peak was on our shoulder: the question of faith was played smoothly and delicately.
Result
The site was accepted. The project started. The first settlers are already unpacking suitcases and mastering their historical homeland! And we received gratitude from the Presidential Administration, we are proud of the result and that we played a role in history.
