Development of the website of Sibur Corporate University

Today we will tell you a story about a large complex site for a corporate university, which has so far remained an unrealized draft.

Our cooperation with Sibur Corporation has been going on for several years. We made a large number of presentation materials, infographics for them, engaged in design support of the corporate university: creating presentations, textbooks and workbooks. Therefore, when colleagues asked if we would undertake a complex project to develop a corporate university, we did not think to refuse, and with pleasure began prototyping. Especially since we have already done something similar for Sibur, but on a more modest scale. In 2019, we developed a catalog of online courses with complex filtering and the possibility of individual automatic selection of courses with AI elements. 

In order to accurately hit the target and please the most trembling customer, we always make a series of prototypes of the future project. From very conservative to space creative. This time, we also developed several options and the customer chose the best one. Based on this concept, we have created internal typical sections of the site and a personal account. By the way, the creation of a personal account was another task: it was necessary to concisely fit a lot of fields, and that all this was convenient and understandable to the user. Therefore, it was important not only to develop a cool design, but also to think through all the ergonomics and form a map of the user’s path. And we succeeded – the student’s personal account became intuitive, provided many opportunities and was not overloaded with an abundance of menu buttons. But this is where our history with the corporate university portal ends. Unfortunately, the project did not go beyond the design for reasons beyond our control. We still hope that someday we will return to the coveted folder “Sibur site KU”, shake off the digital dust from it and finish what we started :)
