A site for quantum breakthrough. How We Created a Digital Home for Russian Science

We received a call from customers who have been entrusting us with complex tasks for many years – the team of RosNIIROS, an organization that oversees Russia’s Internet infrastructure. We need to make a site for the Interuniversity Quantum Network to SPIEF. Time is two weeks. Will you?

We knew immediately: the task is not easy. In two weeks, we will create a website for a project that unites the leading universities of the country and should change the future of quantum technologies in Russia. But to be honest, we even like such challenges – when we need to get together and do the impossible in impossible terms.

Our approach

Immersed in the quantum world

We quickly figured out a complex topic: how quantum networks differ from conventional ones, how quantum computers work, why this is important for the country. It helped us to talk about complex simple words.

We ran a 14-day sprint.

We worked non-stop: designers, layout designers, content specialists – all were on the same team. Created the structure, wrote the lyrics, did the design – all in two weeks. The coffee maker in the office worked like a quantum processor.

The site was launched exactly on time - to the beginning of SPIEF. Not only has he presented Russian quantum technologies with dignity, but they say our project has been approved where we never dreamed of.

But seriously, we received official thanks from the customer and saw how our work took its place on the agenda of the key economic forum of the country. Although we modestly believe that we just made a good site, and not discovered a new state of matter.
