Development of a website for the Far East Government. How we turned dry numbers into juicy content

The government of the Far East has set us an ambitious task - in just 2 weeks to develop a website that would present the results of a large-scale sociological study on the Human Capital Development Index in the most spectacular, vivid and intelligible way.

We have always believed that dry numbers are infographic They creak on their teeth like last year's crackers, so they decided to present everything under fresh creative sauce.

First of all, we tried to “humanize” the site as much as possible. When developing a web resource for government agencies, the most important thing is not to go into officialdom with bulky nine-story verbal constructions. Therefore, we wrote texts in human language, without unnecessary “water”. 

We presented the results of the study in a clear, infographic form. People had only one cursory glance to draw conclusions about the situation in a particular territory.

Special attention was paid to the creation of an interactive map of the Far East. Depending on the level of human development, regions were illuminated with different colors. When clicking on the contour of a certain region, additional information was displayed on the screen. 

We actively used green on the site - it symbolized growth, and also created a calm background that does not distract the user from studying the content.

We also posted images of families with children on the site, which correspond to the basic values of the Far East and the country as a whole. 

The site was developed on the Bitrix platform and displayed flawlessly on all devices: from the smallest smartphones to huge LED panels.
