Minimum conditions for hosting: PHP is not lower than 8.3 and MySQL 8.0, preferably higher. In practice, a WordPress site will work with older versions of PHP and MySQL, but they no longer receive updates and do not have official support, which can compromise the security of the resource.

Open source makes CMS convenient for developers and at the same time attractive for hackers. To keep the site secure, you need to regularly update plugins, use complex passwords, install a web antivirus and make backups.
