Developing a corporate identity for a premium coffee shop. Or our most "charged" logo

We were approached by the owner of the “Kof”. The brand was very young, so it needed a professionally developed corporate identity.

Since the coffee shop is premium, the customer asked to make the logo refined and even aristocratic. 

Coffee is a noble drink, especially when it comes to incomparable author’s preparation.

Our designers, of course, were happy with this order, because coffee has always enjoyed a special love of creative people.

Creating a logoWe settled on the combined type of "inscription + image". The name of the institution "Kof" is inscribed in sophisticated capital letters. 

Nearby there is an icon similar to a heartbeat in a cardiogram - this is the idea of vivacity that coffee gives. 

Choosing the signature colors, we settled on a premium color scheme - a combination of black, brown and dark emerald. Our designers were inspired by the natural shades of coffee leaves and freshly roasted beans.

We chose the most noble and sophisticated font – TT Ricordi Allegri. It supports the tone set by the color palette.

We also offered the customer three variants of the pattern (brand pattern). One of them consisted of the same cardiogram icons, incredibly dynamic in appearance. The other two used a mirrored "K." On the one hand, this is the first letter of the word “coffee”, on the other hand, this symbol resembles the monograms of the Baroque era.

We demonstrated how the logo and patterns will look on advertising media and souvenirs: on the sign, on the clothes of employees, on packages. In addition, we came up with a design for cardboard mugs in three versions of branded colors.
