How we created a whole bunch of cool animation presentations for Rosatom Corporation

Rosatom State Corporation needs no introduction and is familiar to all residents of our country. However, we still want to note that today Rosatom is not just a company responsible for nuclear energy. Now the state corporation is one of the most developed enterprises in Russia, builds nuclear infrastructure facilities around the world and has technologies that other countries only dream of mastering.

Rosatom has a large number of units both in Russia and abroad. And for many of them, we've already been lucky enough to make a modern design for the company.

This time, our partners entrusted us with creating a series of presentations for internal use. The task was to sum up the results of past years and set strategic goals for the next 3 years. We needed to concisely package a large volume of narrowly focused data, while highlighting the essence and not missing important details.

For this project, we did not have a need for debt and intricate copywriting, on the contrary, the partners provided comprehensive information about internal processes. So all we had to do was process large amounts of data and move it to slides in an accessible and legible way.

And now we come to our favorite stage in every project – design. On the one hand, Rosatom is a state-owned corporation and designers will not be able to “break away at full”. On the other hand, such a technological and modern enterprise simply cannot have boring template presentations. We managed to find a compromise that suited both the client and us. We made a cool infographic that replaced long, multi-page reports. And we took a chance and created animation in PowerPoint. And not lost, it turned out quite fascinating, you can evaluate yourself. In general, once again proved that a good designer and sophisticated programs do not need.

What difficulties did we face in the process and how did we solve them? It is no secret that any state enterprise is a clumsy machine with a large number of screws and gears. Therefore, we had fears that the administrative apparatus would delay the coordination of the project or make an excessive number of edits. And so it turned out at first: we too design approached the issue of creating a presentation, so after going through several stages on the customer’s side, our project was returned to the “redesign”. We slightly changed the concept, took into account all the wishes, added a pinch of creativity (could not resist) and sent it to the client. This time, to the credit of our partners and our general delight, the agreement was almost lightning fast. You could say reactive :

Of course, we could say that the result surprised us and the client. But no. We’re great at turning big, boring reports into compact, spectacular infographics, and we love design and it loves us.  

Therefore, we have no doubt that the project will be first-class, meeting all the requirements of the customer. And the customer did not doubt this, working with us not the first year. That's the story and another cool project in our piggy bank.
