Implementation

We were contacted by DigiDent (“DigiDent”). She supplies dental clinics with transparent mouthguards to correct the bite. We were asked to create a brand book to bring advertising materials to a single style. Team understood. Smile and wave, designers, smile and wave!

DigiDent is a young brand (a bit of poetry), and, as we found out then, orthodontists are skeptical of the unfamiliar. It was important to convey that the company was “own” and cooperate with it safely. To do this, we came up with the idea to take images that are already familiar to the target audience and breathe new life into them. It's gonna work.

Dentistry is a conservative design field. Everyone uses white by default. We decided not to depart from the canon and not to shock the retrograde doctors. Together with white, which serves as the basis, three colors were chosen:

  • Blue: conveys purity;
  • Blue: symbolizes modern equipment;
  • Grey: it looks fun.

Even such a simple palette at first glance helped to stand out against the background of old-fashioned competitors. In contrast, DigiDent looks fresh.

They drew a logo. The bicycle wasn't invented here either. The main image for dentists is the tooth. We designed it as an arrow. It reflects the dynamism of the company, its desire for development.

The same was emphasized in the pattern - a corporate graphic element. They became a voluminous curved spiral. It continues the idea of perpetual motion.

For texts suitable font with an open character - Montserrat. Simple to understand, but not trivial.

Result

The customer thanked 32 times for the brand book. The client especially liked that we took care of the target audience and did not push it away with ostentatious innovation. In terms of magic, we were even compared to the Tooth Fairy. DigiDent also asked us to develop a website where the precepts from the brandbook were just useful.
