Presentation of the interior decoration studio Europa Decor. The story of how the collaboration of two teams of designers almost ended in failure
Goal
Expand your customer base and enter new markets. Provide business with a strong marketing tool, with the help of which the number of contracts will reach a record
Objectives
Develop a presentation on the service of interior decoration. With the help of high-quality selling texts and a unique ultra-modern design, demonstrate the professionalism and seriousness of the company to a potential audience.
Implementation
The first stage of work on the project went through like oil. We held a detailed briefing with the customer’s team, quickly figured out their competitive advantages and compiled the structure of the future presentation.
Copywriters, as usual, shot first.
The text was ready four days after the start. The client approved it instantly, with almost no edits. The text was transferred to the design, and then the most interesting thing began.
The fact is that the customer’s company specializes in interior decor, interior design and supply of finishing materials of Russian and European brands. Therefore, we had to deal with a team of professional designers, architects and stylists who have their own vision of style.
In simple words: on both sides of the project were designers-customers and designers-executors.
The first concept was ruthlessly rejected by the customer, as well as its subsequent adjustments. We make a few more attempts to please, but again pass by. No specifics. And then our director comes up with a saving idea: to change the designer responsible for the project.
That's it!
Freshly appointed specialist:
- Repeatedly call the customer;
- makes a new mudboard;
- It's looking for additional references.
The next day, the premiere of a new concept was planned.
We stayed up all night worried about the customer’s reaction.
And a miracle happened. The concept was approved – the project was revived!
We continued to work, but after a couple of days, a new problem surfaced: the customer provided catastrophically few photos. And those with their quality could spoil the entire impression of the presentation and cross out our works.
Our designers rushed to storm photo banks (events developed during the time of dinosaurs, when no one knew about the help of neural networks). Fortunately, the customer went to meet: made a selection of favorite photos with interior solutions on our link Shutterstock.
Result
In general, it ended with a happy ending: the client is happy, so are we, and in the portfolio became one chic project more. We are sure that our presentation helped Europa Decor to find new excellent customers and became an effective tool for negotiations.
